Accessibility

Our restaurant is located in a historic building, and as such, accessibility is limited to the downstairs area only. Unfortunately, we do not have lift access to the upper levels. If you have specific accessibility requirements, please feel free to contact us ahead of your visit and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

Children & Young Persons Policy

Children (15 years and under) must be accompanied by an adult unless attending a private party which is supervised by staff. Children are permitted until 8pm unless having a meal or attending a private funcion. In these cases they are permitted to remain during core hours. Young persons (16 & 17 years) are permitted throughout core hours. There is no need for YP to be accompanied by an adult.

Do You Take Reservations in Your Outdoor Area?

We do not take reservations for our outdoor seating area. These tables are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and are subject to weather conditions. If you’d like to guarantee a table, we recommend booking inside.

Do You Have Parking Available?

While The Bothy does not have its own dedicated parking, on-street paid parking is available nearby. St Andrews also has several public car parks within walking distance. We recommend arriving a little early during peak times to allow for parking.

Are Pets Allowed?

We are dog friendly downstairs in the restaurant

There is bowls and treats available for our well behaved furry friends and also a beautiful outside area for them to enjoy the sunshine!

Please help us by arriving on time and letting a member of the team know as soon as you arrive. We can only hold tables for a maximum of 15 minutes from the start time of your booking.

All deposits are non-refundable, non-transferable payments. These deposits are redeemable against your final bill. Please speak to your host or server on arrival for the best way to do this.

Should you need to cancel, please cancel via the link at the bottom of this email and our group terms & conditions will apply.

We do not guarantee any specific areas/tables, however we do our best to accommodate your preferred area/table requests and the management reserves the right to reallocate areas subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse entry and/or service to any members of your party whom we deem to be intoxicated. We operate a Challenge 25 policy, please ensure ID is available if requested.
