Absolutely amazing place , either food or quick refreshments, amazing staff also , we was served by Vasu, and Cosi they was so welcoming and professional,

We were dubious given some previous poor reviews, but decided to give The Bothy a try. I’m glad we did as it was a lovely dining experience. Food and service was excellent. I had the Hummus as a starter, and Risotto with added Salmon as a main and it was delicious. I had ordered a side of chunky chips which were forgotten about by our server but I was glad as the main was a very generous serving and I didn’t finish it. Thankfully, on checking, I didn’t get charged for the forgotten side.

Our group of 5 had a lovely meal in here today! The food was delicious! Lots of options and menu choices (we had 2 fussy eaters who are hard to please) the food and service couldn’t be faulted. The decor inside is very unusual but very quirky and beautiful inside! It was a rainy day in St. Andrews when we arrived here so we were delighted to be recommended the Bothy and we were very happy here and would recommend to anyone passing by! Yummy food.

Vasu and staff were absolutely wonderful. They were so lovely to our wee pup and made accommodations for our daughter who is a fussy eater. Great experience and would definitely go again!

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this restaurant. Service was well above par, and the food was 5star. Well balanced dinner menu, with fairly priced entrees, and great value wines. Highly recommend the Chateaubriand Lamb for two, if on the menu. Of my twenty + years of coming to St. Andrews on holiday, this may have been my best dinner of all.

We enjoyed each and every minute of our visit. The drinks&foods were delicious, the place lovely with an extra flavour of live music. The vegan options were tasty, as wellThank you for the kind and professional service, Vasu. 🙂

Cozy and warm environment with lovely decor. The food portions are generous and delicious. Vasu and other staff are all friendly and attentive, making delightful dining experience. Will come again.

We had a lovely lunch today at the Bothy St Andrews . Our servers- Vaduz and Athi were very attentive . The place has a nice atmosphere where you don’t feel rushed and can talk with friends with few interruptions . Good place to catch up with friends !
